Medina County Park District is, once again, seeking volunteers to help with a very important natural resource
management program. The white-tailed deer population continues to be a serious threat to the native plant
communities within the park district. Over browsing has reduced native wildflower populations, is
diminishing forest regeneration, and has a cascade of effects on other species in the ecosystem. Volunteers
are needed to help manage the deer population and maintain it at a more natural state.
