Medina County Park District’s renewal-and-increase levy passed by 55 percent

In the November 4, 2025 General Election, Medina County Park District’s renewal-and-increase levy passed by 55 percent. The continuation of this small property tax will fund the district from 2027 through 2036 and enable MCPD to maintain its current parks/preserves and trails, open several new public areas, and offer new activities such as archery, disc golf, and mountain biking.

 “The voters of Medina County have, essentially, said they recognize the value of the park district and appreciate what’s been accomplished since 2015, when we were last on the ballot,” Director Nathan Eppink said. “We’re extremely grateful.”
