Walk of Fame Inaugural Class Awards Ceremony

Medina County Park District hosted its inaugural Walk of Fame Awards Ceremony on April 22 at Buffalo Creek Retreat, celebrating the people and partners who have helped shape and strengthen our parks over the years. The Walk of Fame was established as a lasting tribute to individuals and community groups whose dedication, generosity, and vision have made a meaningful difference across the park district.

Inductees, along with their families, MCPD staff and board members, and local officials, gathered for a shared meal before the ceremony. A special video presentation highlighted the lasting impact of each inductee. The video can be viewed on our YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/QH4IKIqhMJ8.

Each inductee received a commemorative glass award, along with a formal commendation from Congressman Max Miller, recognizing their outstanding contributions to the community. The evening was filled with reflection, gratitude, and celebration of the partnerships that continue to make our parks thrive.

This summer, the Walk of Fame will take shape in front of park district headquarters, where each inductee’s name will be permanently recognized on a bronze plaque, serving as a visible reminder of the lasting impact these honorees have made on MCPD.
